About

Little Manatee River State Park Campground sits within one of the most significant undeveloped river corridors in southwest Florida. The Little Manatee River, a designated Outstanding Florida Water, winds through the park offering excellent paddling and fishing opportunities. The campground's 30 sites are arranged in a loop with good spacing and vegetation providing privacy between neighbors. Each campsite is equipped with water and electric hookups featuring 20, 30, and 50 amp service, accommodating everything from tent campers to large RVs. A central bathhouse provides hot showers and flush toilets, with coin-operated laundry facilities adjacent. The campground includes an RV dump station and three ADA-accessible sites with sidewalk access to the bathhouse. The surrounding park encompasses over 5,000 acres of diverse Florida ecosystems including sand pine scrub, pine flatwoods, and hardwood hammocks. A 6.5-mile multi-use trail system serves hikers, mountain bikers, and equestrians, with separate equestrian camping available. River access allows for kayaking, canoeing, and fishing for bass, bream, and catfish.
