About
Little Fir Campground sits on the western shore of Lake Ouachita, Arkansas's largest lake wholly within state boundaries. The 40,000-acre reservoir, fed by the Ouachita River and surrounded by the Ouachita Mountains and National Forest, offers exceptionally clear waters that attract both anglers and scuba divers.
The campground has 29 sites arranged in two loops, all featuring water hookups, 50/30/20 amp electrical service, fire rings, picnic tables, and lantern poles. A shower house, dump station, boat ramp, and fish cleaning station serve campers. The small size and shaded setting appeal to those seeking a quieter atmosphere close to prime striper fishing habitat.
Nearby, the Lake Ouachita Vista Trail (LOViT) lines the southern end of the lake for hikers, and the 1.8-million-acre Ouachita National Forest offers additional recreation opportunities extending into Oklahoma.
