About

Lewis & Clark State Park is situated on the scenic north shore of Lake Sakakawea, surrounded by the dramatic butte landscape of northwestern North Dakota. The park offers excellent access to the lake for boating, fishing, and swimming at the designated beach. The campground provides 101 sites across several loops. Premium sites offer full hookups including electric, water, and sewer connections. Modern sites include electric and water hookups. Eight primitive sites are available for tent campers seeking a simpler experience. Group camping areas can accommodate larger parties. Two seasonal camping cabins (Scoria and Flint) sleep up to five guests and include basic amenities. Facilities include comfort stations with flush toilets and showers, a sewage dump station, fish cleaning station, and picnic shelters. A dog park provides off-leash recreation for pets. Reservations can be made up to 95 days in advance online or by phone.
