The campground features 85 paved sites surrounded by lush vegetation including palm trees, oleanders, and mature cottonwood trees that provide shade and privacy. Sites accommodate both tents and RVs and include picnic tables and fire rings or grills. The facility operates year-round with flush toilets, potable water spigots throughout, and a dump station.
The campground offers easy access to outdoor recreation, with the Bluffs Trail starting at site 72 and providing scenic views overlooking Las Vegas Wash. The area is excellent for bird watching and wildlife observation, with frequent sightings of numerous bird species, lizards, antelope squirrels, and occasional coyotes. While there is no direct lake access from the campground, boat launch ramps, fishing piers, marinas, and restaurants are reachable within 20 minutes by car.
Most of the 85 sites operate on a first-come, first-served basis, with some sites available for advance reservation through Recreation.gov.
