Boulder Beach Campground
Open year-round. Reservations required via Recreation.gov for most sites; sites 1-9 are first-come, first-served with cash payment. Park-wide fire restrictions are in effect: fires allowed only in developed recreation sites using grills, fire rings, or portable stoves. Current high fire danger prohibits fires outside developed areas and smoking outside enclosed vehicles.

About
Boulder Beach Campground is located within Lake Mead National Recreation Area, just minutes from Las Vegas along Lakeshore Road between Henderson and Boulder City. The 135 large paved sites can accommodate tents or RVs and are surrounded by lush vegetation including palm trees, oleanders, and mature cottonwoods that provide shade and privacy between sites. Many campsites offer views of Lake Mead, Fortification Hill, and the River Mountains. The campground operates year-round and features flush toilets, potable water spigots throughout, a dump station, fire pits and/or grills, and picnic tables at each site. There are no showers or hookups at this NPS-managed campground. Quiet hours are 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Recreation opportunities abound with Boulder Beach, Special Events Beach, Canoe/Kayak Beach, and PWC Beach located 1-2 miles away. The paved River Mountains Loop Trail passes by the campground and extends over 30 miles, connecting to the Historic Railroad Trail near the Alan Bible Visitor Center.
Directions
Take US Highway 93 into the Boulder Entrance of Lake Mead National Recreation Area. Follow Lakeshore Road 2 miles and take your second right. The campground is on the left.
