About
Boulder Beach Group Campground sits along the Boulder Basin of Lake Mead, offering group tent camping with views of the lake, Fortification Hill, and the River Mountains. The five group sites are reservation-only through Recreation.gov and each accommodates 15-30 campers. RVs and trailers are not permitted in the group sites, though standard RV camping is available at the adjacent Boulder Beach Campground. Amenities include flush toilets year-round, potable water from spigots throughout the campground, trash and recycling collection, fire pits, and picnic tables. The campground has a dump station and cell phone reception. A camp host is present seasonally. Restrooms are ADA accessible, though the unpaved group sites themselves present mobility challenges. Recreation opportunities abound with Boulder Beach, Special Events Beach, Canoe/Kayak Beach, and PWC Beach all within 1-2 miles. The River Mountains Loop Trail passes directly by the campground, offering 30+ miles of paved multi-use trail connecting to the Historic Railroad Trail. Summer temperatures regularly exceed 100°F from June through August.
Directions
