Boulder Beach Group Campground

— Open year-round with reservations required through Recreation.gov. Group sites accommodate 12-30 people at $80 per night. Tent camping only; RVs and trailers not permitted. Camping is limited to 30 consecutive days per campground and 90 days total within any consecutive 12-month period. Fire restrictions are currently in effect prohibiting campfires outside of developed recreation sites.

Boulder Beach Group Campground is located just minutes from Las Vegas along the Boulder Basin of Lake Mead within Lake Mead National Recreation Area. The campground features five tent-only group sites surrounded by lush vegetation including palm trees, oleanders, mature cottonwood trees, and native plants that provide shade. Each site accommodates groups of 12 to 30 people and includes picnic tables, fire pits, and access to water spigots.
The campground offers stunning views of Lake Mead, Fortification Hill, and the River Mountains. Boulder Beach is about a 20-minute walk from the campground, and the River Mountains Loop Trail, a paved 30-mile trail leading to the Historic Railroad Trail, passes right by the campground. Nearby recreation opportunities include swimming, kayaking, jet skiing at Boulder Beach and PWC Beach, as well as fishing and boating at Hemenway Harbor. The Hoover Dam is just minutes south along US Highway 93.
Temperatures usually surpass 100°F June through August, with May and September highs around 90°F. October through April offers much cooler temperatures, though lows can dip to freezing December through February. Wildlife in the area includes birds, lizards, antelope squirrels, and occasional coyotes. A campground host is available seasonally to offer assistance.

Located just minutes from Las Vegas along Lakeshore Road within the park between Henderson and Boulder City, NV. Take US Hwy 93 into the Boulder Entrance of the park. Follow Lakeshore Road 2 miles and take your second right. The group campground is on the left.
