About
LaRose Campground occupies a section of heavily wooded shoreline at Grahams Island State Park, one of the few non-seasonal campgrounds in the Devils Lake region. Sites 145-188 make up the LaRose area, offering a mix of modern and primitive camping with varying levels of hookups. The park sits on approximately 1,144 land acres along 211 miles of Devils Lake shoreline. Facilities include flush toilets, hot showers, a sewage dump station, and full hookups (electric, water, sewer) at premium sites. A bait shop near the entrance sells firewood, snacks, and fishing supplies. The park features a four-lane boat ramp, fish cleaning station, gas pump, swim beach, and visitor center. A fenced dog park provides off-leash recreation for pets. Recreation centers on Devils Lake's world-class fishing for walleye, perch, pike, and white bass. Hiking trails include a 1.2-mile and 0.5-mile loop. Pontoon rentals are available. Winter visitors can access groomed cross-country ski trails and ice fishing.
