Larose Campground is situated within Grahams Island State Park, a hidden treasure located on the ever-changing shores of Devils Lake in North Dakota. The campground offers large, shaded modern campsites nestled in heavily wooded ash and oak groves, providing one of the only non-seasonal camping options in the Devils Lake area. Campers enjoy a peaceful setting surrounded by miles of lakeshore with convenient access to the park's extensive amenities. Devils Lake is renowned for world-class fishing, and Grahams Island State Park caters specifically to anglers with a full-service bait shop, four-lane boat ramp, and fish cleaning station. The park hosts numerous national and regional fishing tournaments throughout the year. Beyond fishing, visitors can enjoy swimming at the beach, hiking through woodland trails that showcase 130 native plant species, and exploring the visitor center. The park features a dog park, volleyball court, horseshoe pits, and picnic shelters. During winter months, Grahams Island transforms into a year-round recreation destination with over three miles of groomed cross-country ski trails, snowshoeing opportunities, and excellent ice fishing access. The Larose Campground shares a comfort station with the adjacent Howard Campground and provides modern facilities during the full-service season. The park operates year-round with limited services during the off-season, making it accessible for camping enthusiasts in all seasons.

Directions

From Devils Lake, ND, travel east on Highway 2 for approximately 10 miles, then turn south onto Grahams Island Road and continue for about 6 miles to reach Grahams Island State Park, where LaRose Campground is located.
