About
Landslide Campground is located at 5,800 feet elevation within the Giant Sequoia National Monument in Sequoia National Forest. Sites feature compacted dirt surfaces with picnic tables and fire pits at each location. The campground is approximately 3 miles south of Hume Lake and provides access to extensive recreational opportunities. Trails throughout the monument wind through giant sequoia groves, up mountains, and alongside wild rivers, open to hikers, horses, and bikes outside wilderness areas. Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks are nearby attractions, along with iconic features like the General Sherman Tree and General Grant Tree. Bear boxes are provided at each site as this is active black bear country, and special food storage rules are enforced. Maximum RV length is 16 feet. The campground features vault toilets and potable water. Campfire permits are required for all campfires, barbeques, and camp stoves.
