About

Landslide Campground is a small, peaceful campground nestled along Landslide Creek within the Giant Sequoia National Monument portion of Sequoia National Forest. At 5,800 feet elevation, the campground is surrounded by mixed conifer forest and provides a quieter alternative to the busier Hume Lake area campgrounds. The campground has 9 sites total, including 6 tent-only sites, with a maximum RV length of 16 feet for the remaining sites. Each site features a heavy-duty redwood picnic table, fire ring, and bear-resistant food storage locker. Vault toilets and potable water are available on site, along with trash service. Recreational opportunities include hiking to nearby groves of giant sequoias, OHV roads in the area, and proximity to Hume Lake. Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks are also nearby. Special food storage rules are strictly enforced as this is black bear country, and campfire permits are required for all campfires, BBQs, and camp stoves.
