The campground sits adjacent to Ten Mile Creek, a stream popular with anglers, at an elevation of 5,294 feet. Towering Sequoia and Ponderosa pines provide shade throughout the campground. The campground offers 10 nonelectric sites, including both tent-only and RV-accessible options. Each site includes a picnic table, fire ring, and bear locker. Vault toilets are provided, but there is no potable water; campers must bring their own or obtain water at nearby Landslide Campground during their stay. Nearby Hume Lake offers year-round recreation including fishing, non-motorized boating, hiking, and mountain biking. Day trips to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, Boyden Cavern, and Bearskin Grove are popular activities. Fire restrictions may be imposed at any time due to hot, dry weather conditions.
