Lakeview Campground sits at 3,600 feet elevation on the west shore of Hungry Horse Reservoir within the Flathead National Forest. The campground offers 5 primitive sites, each with a fire ring and picnic table, providing a rustic lakeside experience in northwestern Montana. Access to fishing for trout and whitefish is available at the Lost Johnny Point boat ramp nearby. This is a free, first-come, first-served campground with minimal amenities. Vault toilets are provided, but there is no potable water, so campers must bring their own supply. The campground operates on a pack-it-in, pack-it-out policy with no trash service. The access road (Forest Road 895) is gravel and may limit accessibility for larger RVs. The campground is located about 24 miles southeast of the town of Hungry Horse via Forest Road 895.
