Logan Creek Hoke Creek Closure

Anna Creek Cabin sits perched above Hungry Horse Reservoir with sweeping views of the reservoir and the Great Bear Wilderness. Located 30 miles south of Hungry Horse, Montana, the cabin offers a private setting backed by forest with Anna Creek flowing through the property. The east side provides open views of the Great Bear Wilderness, with a nice mix of shade and sun. In summer and fall, the cabin provides easy access to Hungry Horse Reservoir recreation. Visitors can drive to nearby Graves Bay, Graves Creek, or Handkerchief Lake for fishing, swimming, and boating. Hiking trails along Pioneer Ridge and the east side of Jewel Basin are nearby. The area is popular for berry picking, wildlife watching, and scenic drives. Winter access requires a 24-mile snowmobile ride on an ungroomed route from the Hungry Horse Dam snowmobile parking area. The West Side Hungry Horse Reservoir Road is not maintained or plowed for wheeled vehicles in winter. The cabin serves as a base for winter recreation opportunities in the Swan Mountain Range. Reservations are available through Recreation.gov.
Directions
Summer: From Hungry Horse, turn south on Road 895, cross Hungry Horse Dam, and continue 29 miles to the cabin between mile markers 28 and 29. Look for a short driveway on the west side; close the gate behind you. Winter: Park at Hungry Horse Dam snowmobile parking area and snowmobile approximately 24 miles on the ungroomed West Side Reservoir Road.
