About

Graves Creek Campground, also known as Graves Bay Campground, is a minimally developed Forest Service campground situated on the west shore of the Hungry Horse Reservoir in the Flathead National Forest. With just three campsites at 3,600 feet elevation, this quiet spot offers a peaceful retreat for campers seeking solitude and fishing access. The campground provides basic amenities including a vault toilet but no potable water, so campers must bring their own supply. The maximum trailer length is 22 feet, making this site best suited for tent camping or small trailers. There is no fee to camp, and sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis with a 16-day stay limit. Graves Creek Trail #1 begins near the campground, offering hiking opportunities into the surrounding wilderness. Food storage is required for all attractants including human and stock food and garbage, as this area is within grizzly bear habitat in the Northern Continental Divide Ecosystem.
