About

Devil's Corkscrew Campground sits along the scenic east shore of Hungry Horse Reservoir, accessible via a 37-mile drive on East Side Reservoir Road from Martin City, Montana. This small, primitive campground offers 4 sites in a remote, lightly-used setting with views of the reservoir and surrounding Flathead National Forest. The campground provides vault toilets but no potable water or trash services. Campers must bring all drinking water and pack out all garbage. Food storage is required for human and stock food, garbage, and other attractants due to bear activity in the area. The 16-day stay limit applies, and trailers are limited to 32 feet maximum. This is an ideal spot for those seeking solitude and boat access to Hungry Horse Reservoir. The remote location means light usage even during peak season, making it a good choice for campers who prefer a quieter experience away from developed campgrounds.

Directions

From Martin City, Montana, turn off Highway 2 and continue on the main road through town heading south. This road becomes East Side Reservoir Road. Continue for 37.9 miles to the campground.
