* WHAT...Heavy snow and blowing snow expected. Total snow accumulations 10 to 20 inches. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph creating blowing and drifting snow and at times white out conditions. * WHERE...Niagara, Orleans, Northern Erie, and Genesee Counties. Greatest snow accumulation will be found across southern Niagara, southwestern Orleans, northern Erie and western Genesee counties. * WHEN...Now to 4 PM EST Wednesday. Significant snow accumulation will occur late tonight through Monday, and again Tuesday into Tuesday night. * IMPACTS...Whiteout conditions are expected and will make travel treacherous and potentially life-threatening. Travel will be very difficult in deep snow covered roads. The hazardous conditions will impact the Monday morning through the Wednesday morning commutes. Gusty winds will down tree branches and cause isolated power outages. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Expect snowband oscillate with varying intensities and snowfall amounts over the area. Snowfall rates 2 inches per hour late tonight through Monday, and again Tuesday through Tuesday evening. Wind chill values zero to 10 below zero Monday night through Tuesday night.

Lakeside State Park is situated along Lake Ontario in Orleans County, offering an outstanding panoramic view of the lake and surrounding farms and fruit orchards. The park features 274 campsites accommodating both tents and trailers, with maximum equipment lengths ranging from 20 to 40 feet. While swimming is not permitted in the lake, visitors enjoy four miles of hiking and biking trails, excellent fishing opportunities along the lakefront, and the Shore Winds Disc Golf Course. The campground is divided into seven loops (A through G), with loops A, B, and C designated as no-pet areas and loops D, E, F, and G welcoming up to two pets per site. All campsites include picnic tables and fire pits, with fires permitted in fireplaces only. Modern amenities include dump stations, shower facilities, restrooms, and a laundry. The park also features picnic pavilions, playgrounds, and playing fields for baseball, basketball, and volleyball. During winter months, the park remains accessible for hiking, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling. The park's location in the Lake Ontario fruit belt provides scenic views of orchards and farmland. Nearby attractions include Oak Orchard State Marine Park, Golden Hill State Park, Hamlin Beach State Park, Darien Lakes State Park, and Letchworth State Park.
