Closed — Closed for the winter season. Reopens April 10, 2026 through November 2, 2026. The park remains open for day-use activities year-round from dawn to dusk. Pavilion reservations available starting January 11, 2026.

* WHAT...Heavy snow and blowing snow expected. Total snow accumulations 10 to 20 inches. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph creating blowing and drifting snow and at times white out conditions. * WHERE...Niagara, Orleans, Northern Erie, and Genesee Counties. Greatest snow accumulation will be found across southern Niagara, southwestern Orleans, northern Erie and western Genesee counties. * WHEN...Now to 4 PM EST Wednesday. Significant snow accumulation will occur late tonight through Monday, and again Tuesday into Tuesday night. * IMPACTS...Whiteout conditions are expected and will make travel treacherous and potentially life-threatening. Travel will be very difficult in deep snow covered roads. The hazardous conditions will impact the Monday morning through the Wednesday morning commutes. Gusty winds will down tree branches and cause isolated power outages. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Expect snowband oscillate with varying intensities and snowfall amounts over the area. Snowfall rates 2 inches per hour late tonight through Monday, and again Tuesday through Tuesday evening. Wind chill values zero to 10 below zero Monday night through Tuesday night.

Wilson-Tuscarora State Park is a 476.5-acre natural preserve located along Lake Ontario in Niagara County, featuring diverse ecosystems of mature woods, open meadows, and marshland that support many varieties of plants and wildlife. The park is divided by Tuscarora Bay, which is separated from Lake Ontario by a strip of land called "The Island." Recreational opportunities include a four-mile nature trail system used year-round for hiking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. The park features an 18-hole disc golf course, a natural sand swimming beach, and excellent fishing for pan fish and game fish from boats or shore. A full-service marina with boat launch, seasonal boat slips, and emergency storm shelter docks serves boaters. Additional amenities include six reservable picnic shelters that accommodate groups from 36 to 126 people, a conference room, playground, and scenic overlooks of the lake. The park is open year-round for day use from dawn to dusk and allows seasonal waterfowl and small game hunting by permit. This is a day-use facility with no overnight camping available. Reservations for picnic shelters can be made through ReserveAmerica up to 11 months in advance.
