Winds gusting as high as 45 mph through Tuesday will create blowing and drifting snow and occasional whiteout conditions. * WHERE...Wyoming, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Southern Erie Counties. * WHEN...Until 1 AM EST Friday. * IMPACTS...Whiteout conditions with snow and blowing snow are expected and will make travel treacherous and potentially life-threatening through Tuesday. Travel will remain very difficult with hazardous conditions from lake effect snow continuing to impact travel through the week.

Letchworth State Park campground offers 270 electric campsites spread across camping loops 100-800, accommodating RVs up to 50 feet in length. Sites feature either 30 or 50 AMP electrical hookups, with flush toilets, showers, and a dump station available. The campground operates seasonally from mid-May through mid-October, with reservations available through Reserve America. Renowned as the Grand Canyon of the East, Letchworth State Park provides an exceptional base for exploring one of the most scenically magnificent areas in the eastern United States. The Genesee River roars through a dramatic gorge with three major waterfalls, surrounded by cliffs rising as high as 600 feet. The park offers 66 miles of hiking trails, opportunities for whitewater rafting, kayaking, fishing, and mountain biking. Winter activities include cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. The historic Glen Iris Inn and the Humphrey Nature Center add cultural and educational dimensions to the camping experience.
Directions
From Buffalo, take I-90 to 400 South, exit at East Aurora to 20A East, and follow signs to the park. From Rochester, take 390 South to Exit #7 for Mt. Morris, then follow Route 36 to the park entrance.
