Lake Somerville Marina & Campground is a family-owned recreational destination located on the shores of Lake Somerville in Washington County, Texas. The campground encompasses 168 acres of wilderness camping area and serves as one of two marina campgrounds on the lake, alongside the Army Corps of Engineers-operated parks. The facility features over 93 developed campsites equipped with electricity and water hookups, picnic tables, and fire rings. In addition to the developed sites, the campground offers unlimited primitive camping options for those seeking a more rustic experience. Each developed campsite includes amenities for cooking and gathering around the fire. Beyond camping, visitors can enjoy a variety of recreational activities including a beach area for swimming, two playgrounds for families, marina facilities for fishing and boating, and a pavilion for group gatherings. Cabin rentals are also available, offering lake views and comfortable accommodations for those who prefer not to tent or RV camp. The marina provides convenient access to Lake Somerville's fishing and water activities.

Directions

From Brenham, Texas, take Highway 36 north for approximately 11.5 miles to FM 1948. Turn left on FM 1948 and continue for about 5 miles to the park entrance at 505 Marina Road.
