Located seven miles west of Flathead Lake near Dayton, Montana, Lake Mary Ronan State Park provides a quiet camping retreat on the east shore of 1,500-acre Lake Mary Ronan. The 120-acre park sits at 3,770 feet elevation in a boreal forest of Douglas fir and western larch. The campground features 25 individual campsites with paved roads and spurs, seasonal electricity available at sites, picnic tables, established fire rings, and bear-resistant storage lockers. A group camping area is also available. Vault toilets and potable water are provided during the operating season. The park includes a boat launch with trailer parking, dock, and beach access for swimming. Lake Mary Ronan is an angler's destination, known for kokanee salmon, largemouth bass, and yellow perch. The park offers numerous trails leading into surrounding areas with abundant wildflowers, huckleberries, mushrooms, and wildlife viewing opportunities. Winter activities include ice fishing and snowshoeing. Pets are allowed, and a camp host is present during peak season.
