Lake Mary Ronan State Park

Open

Open for camping May 1 through November 30. Electric hookups available through October. Potable water runs May through September only; campers visiting outside that window should bring their own water.

About

Lake Mary Ronan State Park provides a quiet camping experience on 120 acres at the southern end of Lake Mary Ronan, just 7 miles west of the larger and busier Flathead Lake. The 25 campsites are shaded by mature Douglas fir and western larch trees, with paved campground roads and parking spurs. Most sites have 50-amp electric hookups, though a few remain non-electric. A camp host is on-site during the operating season. The park serves as an excellent base for fishing, with kokanee salmon, rainbow and cutthroat trout, largemouth bass, and yellow perch in the lake. A boat ramp and dock are available, and all watercraft must pass Montana's aquatic invasive species inspection before launching. Swimming is popular along the shoreline, and wildlife viewing opportunities include deer, osprey, and various waterfowl. Bear-resistant food storage lockers are provided at each site due to active black bear presence in the area. All attractants must be stored in hard-sided containers or vehicles when not in immediate use.
