Finley Point Unit of Flathead Lake State Park provides a secluded camping experience on 28 acres along the southeast shore of Flathead Lake, Montana's largest lake. The campground sits in a mature ponderosa pine forest and offers 18 RV campsites with electrical hookups (including one ADA-accessible site), 7 tent-only sites, 2 cabins, 4 camping boat slips with electricity, and 14 additional boat slips. The maximum RV or trailer length is 40 feet, and bear-resistant storage lockers are available throughout the campground. The park serves as an excellent base for fishing Lake Trout and Lake Superior Whitefish, with swimming, boating, kayaking, and paddleboarding available directly from the park. The boat launch and dock provide easy water access, though dock availability depends on lake levels and is typically usable mid-June through early September. Nearby Polson offers additional amenities including golf, shopping, dining, and museums. Finley Point is located within the Flathead Indian Reservation. All recreation on tribal land outside the park requires a Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes recreation permit, and a tribal fishing license is required for fishing on the southern half of Flathead Lake. The campground features vault toilets, potable water, trash removal, and firewood for sale. Reservations are available through Reserve America.
