About

Lake Louisa State Park Campground provides a comfortable base for exploring this diverse natural area just 30 minutes from Orlando. The campground features 60 full-facility sites nestled between Dixie and Hammond lakes, each equipped with 30- and 50-amp electrical hookups. Campground amenities include two accessible bathhouses with showers and laundry facilities, two accessible fishing piers, a small pavilion, and a centrally located dump station between Dixie Loop and Sandhill Loop. The park showcases 11 distinct natural plant communities and is home to a diversity of wildlife including deer, bobcat, gopher tortoises, bald eagles, and osprey. With three major lakes, 20 miles of unpaved multi-use trails, and seven miles of paved roads over rolling hills, the park offers excellent opportunities for paddling, hiking, mountain biking, and wildlife viewing. Sites 1, 34, and 36 are fully accessible with level concrete pads and sidewalk connections to bathhouses. Some sites can accommodate RVs up to 50 feet, making this a popular destination for RV campers seeking nature access while staying between major Central Florida attractions.
