Lake Louisa State Park Campground sits between Dixie and Hammond lakes amid the rolling sandhills of central Florida. The 60 full-facility campsites are arranged across three loops: two 15-site loops and one 30-site loop. Every site comes equipped with 30-amp and 50-amp electric hookups, water, a picnic table, fire ring, benches, and charcoal grill. Fifteen sites also include sewer hookups. Pull-through sites are available for larger rigs, with some sites accommodating RVs up to 50 feet. Two accessible bathhouses provide hot and cold running water, flush toilets, showers, and sinks. A dump station is conveniently located between Dixie Loop and Sandhill Loop. Sites 1, 34, and 36 are fully ADA accessible with level concrete pads and paved connections to the bathhouse. The Camper Canteen offers firewood, snacks, water, and bicycle and kayak rentals. The park spans over 4,500 acres and features a chain of lakes perfect for canoeing, kayaking, and fishing. Miles of hiking and equestrian trails wind through the landscape of longleaf pine and scrubby flatwoods. A swimming beach at Lake Louisa provides a refreshing escape during Florida's warm months.

Directions

From Clermont, drive south on US-27. From US-192, drive north on US-27. The park entrance is on the west side of the highway at 7305 US Highway 27, Clermont, FL 34714. From Orlando, take East-West Expressway (SR-408) west to Florida Turnpike north, take exit 272 onto SR-50 west for 6.5 miles, turn left on US-27, and the park entrance is 6.7 miles on the right.
