Lake Kissimmee State Park Campground sits in a scenic oak hammock that provides natural shade and privacy between the 60 campsites. Each site includes water and 30-amp electric hookups, a picnic table, and a fire ring with grill grate. The campground accommodates RVs up to 55 feet, though there are no pull-through sites. Amenities include flush restrooms, hot showers, a dump station, and laundry facilities. The Cracker Shack camp store sells ice, firewood, snacks, and camping supplies. The park spans over 5,930 acres along the shores of Lakes Kissimmee, Tiger, and Rosalie, making it a prime destination for freshwater fishing, particularly largemouth bass. A boat ramp and marina provide lake access. Hikers can explore 13 miles of trails through pine flatwoods, oak hammocks, and prairie habitats. The park's signature attraction is the 1876 Cow Camp, a living history exhibit showcasing Florida's cowboy heritage, open weekends and holidays. Four ADA-accessible sites (9, 15, 49, and 52) feature accessible picnic tables, grills, and paved pathways to restrooms with accessible showers. A primitive youth camping area accommodating up to 50 people is also available. Pets are welcome on a 6-foot leash but not permitted in the Cow Camp area.

Directions

From Lake Wales, take Route 60 East approximately 9 miles, then follow signs to turn left for Lake Kissimmee State Park. The park entrance is about 5 miles off Route 60 at 14248 Camp Mack Road.
