Lake Hope State Park offers 66 family cabins nestled within the rugged, heavily forested landscape of Zaleski State Forest in southeastern Ohio. The park features three types of cabins to accommodate different group sizes and preferences. The 25 Standard Cabins sleep five guests and provide comfortable, no-frills accommodations. The 21 Iron Furnace Legacy Cabins sleep four and feature beautiful stone fireplaces with wood-burning capability, offering a classic rustic atmosphere. The 20 Forest Legacy Cabins are the largest, sleeping four to eight guests, with some featuring screened porches perfect for enjoying the surrounding forest. All cabins are equipped with modern conveniences including full kitchens, bathrooms, heat, and air conditioning. The park's 2,983 acres offer extensive recreational opportunities including 11 miles of hiking trails, a 600-foot swimming beach on the 120-acre lake, boat rentals, and access to 25 miles of mountain bike trails and 6 miles of bridle trails. The rustic dining lodge, built of native stone and lumber, houses The Stone Terrace Restaurant and a general store where visitors can purchase supplies and firewood. Located entirely within the 26,824-acre Zaleski State Forest, Lake Hope provides a secluded natural retreat characterized by steep gorges, narrow ridges, and remnants of the region's iron furnace and mining history. The park's proximity to other Hocking Hills attractions makes it an ideal base for exploring southeastern Ohio's scenic wonderland.

Lake Hope State Park is located at 27331 State Route 278, McArthur, Ohio. From McArthur, take State Route 93 south to State Route 278 west; the park entrance is well-marked along this route.
