About
Located deep in the Ottawa National Forest, Robbins Pond Camp is a small dispersed campground that provides a secluded camping experience on the shores of Robbins Pond, a well-known trout pond. The campground features just three primitive campsites, making it an ideal destination for those seeking solitude and a back-to-basics camping experience. The campground offers basic amenities including pit toilets, picnic tables, and fire rings at each site, but campers must bring their own drinking water as none is available on-site. The location provides access to fishing opportunities on Robbins Pond and allows visitors to experience the quiet beauty of the northern hardwood forest. Access to the campground requires traveling on forest roads, with the final approach on FR 6964. The remote location and primitive nature of this campground make it best suited for experienced campers who are prepared for backcountry conditions. During winter months, forest roads are not plowed, making the campground inaccessible.
