Lake Alma State Park Shelter is a reservable overnight camping shelter located within one of southeastern Ohio's most scenic state parks. The 292-acre park features a quiet 60-acre lake and gentle creek meandering through wooded valleys, providing a peaceful retreat for campers seeking a rustic experience. The shelter offers basic overnight accommodations with access to park amenities including pit latrines, picnic tables, fire rings, and drinking water. The main campground area features an ADA-accessible shower house with flush toilets and a dump station. Guests can borrow games and sports equipment from the camp office, and a playground is available in the campground area. Recreational opportunities abound, including fishing in the stocked lake, hiking along park trails, and wildlife watching.
