About
Point Beach State Forest Campground sits on 3,000 acres of land along Lake Michigan's western shore in Manitowoc County. The family campground contains 127 wooded sites, with 70 offering electrical hookups. All sites provide easy access to over 6 miles of undeveloped sandy beach, making it a prime destination for swimming, beachcombing, and watching freighters pass the historic Rawley Point Lighthouse, which has guided ships since 1853. Facilities include two modern restroom buildings with flush toilets and showers located across from sites 31 and 120. A dump station and garbage/recycling services are available near the main entrance. Site 31 is designated as the ADA-accessible campsite, with accessible stalls in each restroom building. Beyond the family campground, the forest offers two rustic group cabins, an outdoor group camp, a backpacker site along the Ice Age Trail, and a kayak-access-only campsite on Lake Michigan.
Directions
Located in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. The forest entrance is accessible via County Highway O, approximately 5 miles north of Two Rivers off Highway 42.
