About
Kingsley Glade Campground is a primitive, no-fee campground nestled in the forest at the edge of a meadow in the Mendocino National Forest. The six-site campground sits at 4,500 feet elevation and is particularly well-suited for equestrian campers, featuring corrals, hitching posts, and access to riding trails. The campground provides basic amenities including vault toilets, picnic tables, and fire rings at each site. There is no potable water on-site, though a stream with spring pipe can be found about 2.6 miles east on the access road. Campers must pack out all trash. The campground accommodates trailers up to 14 feet in length. Thomes Creek, located approximately five road miles from the campground, is a popular destination for fishing and swimming. The campground is accessed from Paskenta via Forest Roads M-2 and 24N01, about 22 miles west of Paskenta and 60 miles west of Red Bluff.
Directions
From Paskenta, take Road M-2 west to Road 24N01, then turn left on Road 24N01 and continue to the campground. The campground is located 22 miles west of Paskenta and 60 miles west of Red Bluff at 4,500 feet elevation.
