Facilities are basic but functional: vault toilets and picnic tables are available, though campers must bring their own water as none is provided on site. The campground is accessed via forest roads from Paskenta, requiring about 16 miles of travel on Road M-2 and Road #24N19. The surrounding area has experienced recent fire activity, so visitors should exercise caution around downed trees, dropped limbs, stump holes, and unstable terrain. Trails may not be cleared, and parking under dead standing trees should be avoided. Quiet hours are observed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
