Kentucky Horse Park Campground is a premier 260-site resort campground nestled in the rolling hills of Kentucky's famous Bluegrass region. Set on more than 1,200 acres, the campground serves as the perfect base for exploring the adjacent Kentucky Horse Park, a world-renowned equine theme park and competition facility. The campground features a mix of standard electric sites with paved pads and water hookups, as well as primitive sites. Each site includes a fire ring and picnic table, with many accommodating large RVs up to 50 feet. The facility is arranged in two large circular loops (B and D) among groves of trees, offering a blend of wooded and open settings. Full-service amenities include two modern bathhouses with hot showers, two laundry facilities, two dump stations, and a camp store selling groceries and gifts. Recreation options abound with a junior Olympic-size swimming pool, lighted tennis courts, basketball and volleyball courts, and multiple playgrounds. The campground provides direct access to the Legacy Trail for biking and walking. Campers enjoy discounted admission to the Kentucky Horse Park's daily programs, including the Hall of Champions Show and Parade of Breeds, as well as the International Museum of the Horse and American Saddlebred Museum. The facility is particularly popular with equestrian enthusiasts attending horse events and competitions throughout the year.
