About
Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park is one of three resort parks on the waters surrounding Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area, a 170,000-acre wooded peninsula bound by Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley. The campground provides direct access to one of the finest fishing and boating lakes in the Southeast, with a full-service marina offering boat rentals, fuel, and 36 slip spaces. The campground features 221 paved campsites with electric (30 and 50 amp) and water hookups. Four central service buildings provide modern restrooms and showers, with laundry facilities available on site. A grocery store and gift shop serve camper needs, and firewood is available for purchase. Note that hookups on most sites are several feet from the pads, so bring a long heavy-duty extension cord and hose. Beyond camping, the park offers an 18-hole golf course, guided horseback trail rides, tennis courts, a beach swimming area, and extensive walking trails. The on-site restaurant provides dining options, and the convention center hosts events. The campground operates from April 1 through October 31, with reservations available up to 12 months in advance through Kentucky State Parks.
