About
Boswell Landing Campground sits on a peninsula in Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area, providing campers with waterfront views on three sides overlooking Kentucky Lake. This self-service campground offers a primitive camping experience with clearly marked, mostly level gravel sites. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring, and the campground provides vault toilets, trash service, and a boat ramp with loading dock for lake access. As a self-service facility, campers must fill out an envelope with their camping fee and deposit it in the metal fee tube within 30 minutes of setting up. The campground operates year-round and accepts cash or check only. Dead and downed wood may be collected for campfires. The maximum stay is 21 nights during any 30 consecutive days, after which campers must leave Land Between the Lakes entirely. Boswell Landing is accessible via Woodlands Scenic Trace (FS Road 100). While the campground provides basic amenities, there is no potable water available, so campers must bring their own water supply. Pets are welcome but must remain leashed and under control at all times.

Follow signs along Woodlands Scenic Trace (FS Road 100).
