About

Boswell Landing Campground offers a more primitive camping experience within the Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area along the shores of Kentucky Lake in Stewart County, Tennessee. This self-service campground operates year-round and provides a quieter alternative to the area's more developed campgrounds, ideal for campers seeking solitude and direct lake access. The campground features designated campsites equipped with basic amenities including picnic tables, grills, fire rings, and vault toilets. A boat ramp provides convenient water access for fishing and boating enthusiasts. Trash service is provided, and campers can access nearby hiking and biking trails along the Woodlands Scenic Trace. The facility operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations. Upon arrival, campers select an available site and complete self-registration by filling out a fee envelope and depositing payment in the Iron Ranger fee tube at the entrance within 30 minutes of setup. No water is available on-site, so visitors must bring an adequate supply. The campground is accessible via the Woodlands Scenic Trace (Forest Road 100), with the South Welcome Station located nearby for additional services.
