Jack Creek Crew Quarters is a large modern cabin rental in the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest, situated at 8,500 feet elevation in a clearing surrounded by lodgepole pine, aspen, and mixed conifer forest. The two-story log facility sleeps up to 15 people across five bedrooms with single and bunk beds (mattresses provided, bedding not included). The facility features two fully equipped kitchens with propane ranges, refrigerators, and sinks, plus basic cooking utensils and dishware. Bathrooms with flush toilets and showers are available on both levels. Solar panels provide limited electricity for lights and the well pump, while propane supplies heat. Outdoor amenities include picnic tables and a large charcoal grill. The Continental Divide National Scenic Trail is west of the cabin, and Jack Creek Campground is one mile away. Guests must bring their own sleeping bags, pillows, towels, dish soap, matches, toilet paper, and garbage bags. Trash must be packed out. No campers, tents, or trailers may be set up at this facility, and saddle or pack animals are not permitted within the administrative area. This is a non-smoking facility.

Directions

From Saratoga, travel west on County Road 500 approximately 16 miles to junction with County Road 405. Stay left and travel 3 miles to the forest boundary where the road becomes Forest Road 452. Continue on FR 452 for 6.5 miles past Jack Creek Campground, then approximately 1.5 miles further. The entrance to the crew quarters is on your left.
