Green River Horse Camp is a free primitive equestrian campground located in the Mount St. Helens area of Gifford Pinchot National Forest, designed specifically for horse and pack animal users. The campground provides 26 hi-line posts, a mounting ramp, and two manure bins to support equestrian camping needs. Each of the 13 sites can accommodate up to two trailer rigs or three vehicles. There is no potable water at the campground. The closest drinking water is located 5 miles south on Forest Road 26 at the Norway Pass Trailhead, so campers must plan accordingly. The camp provides vault toilets and picnic tables. Quiet hours are enforced from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Nearby trails accessible from the campground include Green River Trail #213, Goat Mountain Trail #217, Vanson Ridge Trail #213A, and Tumwater Trail #218. The Green River Trail is open to hikers, horses, and bicycles, offering scenic riding opportunities through the volcanic landscape surrounding Mount St. Helens.

From Randle, WA head south on State Route 131 for 2.7 miles. Continue on Forest Road 25 for 5.9 miles. Turn right on Forest Road 26 and follow for about 11.3 miles. Turn right on Forest Road 2612 and travel about 1.5 miles to Forest Road 2612-027 and turn left.
