Sweet Run State Park is an 884-acre park in Loudoun County, Virginia, approximately four miles from Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. The park opened in May 2023 as Virginia's 42nd state park and remains in a developmental phase. As of 2026, the park explicitly states that no camping is currently available. A primitive hike-in campground is under development, but there is no reference to any facility named 'Hunts Campground' in official Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation documentation or master planning materials. The park currently offers 11 miles of hiking trails, 9 miles of equestrian trails, a fishing pond (Gordon Pond), a picnic pavilion, nature play area, trail shelter, and an interpretive center with wheelchair-accessible restrooms. Park hours are 8 a.m. to dusk with limited parking available.
