About

Grandview Campground is located on the Mesa Falls Scenic Byway approximately 13 miles northeast of Ashton, Idaho, directly adjacent to the Lower Mesa Falls Overlook. The campground offers 7 single-family sites and 2 double-family sites, all equipped with electric hookups (15, 30, and 50 amp), picnic tables, and campfire rings with grills. Vault toilets and potable water are available during the primary season. The campground sits in a forest of lodgepole pine and Douglas fir at 6,500 feet elevation, with the 85-foot Lower Mesa Falls just steps away and the 110-foot Upper Mesa Falls within a mile. The Upper Falls area features an accessible path, close-up overlook, and a staffed Interpretive Center. Wildlife viewing is excellent, with moose, bear, deer, elk, eagles, and osprey frequenting the area. Harriman State Park lies 11 miles north on the scenic byway, offering Blue Ribbon catch-and-release fly fishing for trout and abundant wildlife including trumpeter swans. Yellowstone National Park is about an hour's drive away.
