About
Ha Ha Tonka State Park's special-use camping area is designated exclusively for group camping, with nonprofit organizations and youth groups receiving priority. The facility is divided into three separate camping areas, each equipped with a fire ring, covered cook table, and three to four picnic tables. Camping area A1 is specifically designated for campers with disabilities. The park itself is a geologic wonderland featuring sinkholes, caves, a natural bridge, sheer bluffs, and Missouri's 12th-largest spring. The ruins of a turn-of-the-century stone castle overlook these natural features and offer impressive views of the Lake of the Ozarks and Ha Ha Tonka Spring. A series of trails and boardwalks makes it easy to explore the park's historic castle, geologic wonders, woodlands, and rocky glades.
Directions
Ha Ha Tonka State Park is located approximately five miles south of Camdenton, Missouri, off State Road D. From Camdenton, take Highway 54 west, then turn south onto State Road D and follow the signs to the park entrance.
