About

Ha Ha Tonka State Park's special-use camping area is designated exclusively for group camping, with nonprofit organizations and youth groups receiving priority. The facility is divided into three separate camping areas, each equipped with a fire ring, covered cook table, and three to four picnic tables. Camping area A1 is specifically designated for campers with disabilities. The park itself is a geologic wonderland featuring sinkholes, caves, a natural bridge, sheer bluffs, and Missouri's 12th-largest spring. The ruins of a turn-of-the-century stone castle overlook these natural features and offer impressive views of the Lake of the Ozarks and Ha Ha Tonka Spring. A series of trails and boardwalks makes it easy to explore the park's historic castle, geologic wonders, woodlands, and rocky glades.
