Open — Sections 1 and 4 are open year-round. Sections 2 and 3 operate seasonally. During off-season months (November through March), potable water is available at the check station, and vault toilets replace modern restroom facilities.

Lake of the Ozarks State Park Campground is the camping hub of Missouri's largest state park, offering 179 campsites spread across four sections along the scenic Grand Glaize Arm of Lake of the Ozarks. The campground provides 129 electric sites and 50 basic sites, with recent renovations to Section 4 adding 25 premium sites featuring water, sewer, and 50-amp electrical service. Six yurts are also available for those seeking a unique camping experience. Campers enjoy access to the park's 89 miles of shoreline, two swimming beaches, multiple boat ramps, and marinas. On-site amenities include modern restrooms with showers, laundry facilities, and a camper store stocked with camping supplies near the entrance. The park offers extensive recreational opportunities including hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and guided tours of Ozark Caverns. The campground accommodates RVs with pull-through and back-in sites on paved access roads. Reservations can be made up to 12 months in advance through the Missouri State Parks system, with some sites available year-round. Weekend stays require a two-night minimum, and camping is limited to 15 days within any 30-day period.

Lake of the Ozarks State Park Campground is located at 403 Highway 134 in Brumley, Missouri. From Osage Beach, take Highway 42 east for approximately 3.5 miles, then turn into the park entrance on Highway 134. Follow the signs to the campground.
