About

Lake of the Ozarks State Park Campground sits within Missouri's largest state park, offering over 180 campsites spread across four distinct sections. Section 1 provides year-round camping with full amenities including flush restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, and a dump station. Section 2 offers a quieter experience with vault toilets and four yurts available for rent. Section 3 features electric and family sites near an amphitheater, while Section 4 provides the most extensive options including newly renovated sites with full hookups featuring 50-amp electric, water, and sewer connections. The campground serves as a base for exploring the park's diverse recreational opportunities. Two swimming beaches, multiple boat ramps, and marina facilities provide lake access. Over 90 miles of trails accommodate hiking, biking, and equestrian use. Ozark Caverns offers guided cave tours featuring unique formations and Angel Showers waterfall. Reservations can be made up to 12 months in advance through the Missouri State Parks reservation system. A camp store near the entrance provides essentials, and EV charging is available for a nominal fee. The park enforces a 15-night limit within any 30-consecutive-day period and requires a two-night minimum on weekends.
