About

Bennett Spring State Park is one of Missouri's earliest state parks, featuring five distinct campgrounds nestled in the wooded hills of the Ozarks near Lebanon. The park offers over 200 campsites ranging from basic tent sites to full hookup RV sites with sewer, electric, and water. Some sites feature 50-amp electric service to accommodate larger rigs. The park's main attraction is Bennett Spring itself, Missouri's third-largest spring, which flows at more than 100 million gallons per day. The spring-fed stream is stocked daily with rainbow trout from March through October, making it a premier fishing destination. Beyond fishing, the park offers a nature center, dining lodge, park store, swimming pool, picnic areas, hiking trails, and float trip opportunities. Family campsites provide extra space for larger groups. Campgrounds are accessible with some requiring uphill travel to reach the upper campgrounds (2-5). The park provides campground hosts for assistance, and showerhouses offer flush toilets and hot showers. Water at individual campsites is seasonal, typically available from mid-April through mid-October. The park's peaceful valley setting and abundance of recreational activities make it a popular year-round destination for anglers, families, and nature enthusiasts.
