About

Bennett Spring State Park Campground 5 occupies a scenic hilltop woodland setting above the spring-fed valley that has drawn anglers to this area for generations. The campground offers basic and electric campsites, each equipped with a parking pad, picnic table, grill, and lantern post. A shower house and restroom facilities serve the loop, along with frost-free water stations providing potable water throughout the operating season. The campground operates from late February through October, providing an extended season compared to many Missouri campgrounds. Two ADA-accessible electric sites are available, though the shower and restroom buildings may present limitations for some users with mobility challenges. The uphill drive to reach Campground 5 requires consideration for larger rigs or those preferring level access. Bennett Spring State Park is renowned for its daily-stocked rainbow trout fishery, one of the most popular in the Midwest. Beyond fishing, the park offers hiking trails, a dining lodge, camp store with fishing supplies and provisions, and nature center programs. Reservations are available up to 12 months in advance with no minimum stay requirement.
