About
Campground 5 is one of five campgrounds nestled in the wooded hills of Bennett Spring State Park, one of Missouri's earliest state parks. The campground offers 47 sites with electric hookups and 4 basic sites without hookups, providing camping options for various preferences. All campers have access to shower houses with hot showers, restrooms with flush toilets, and potable water access areas. The campground is situated in a hillside location requiring significant uphill travel from the park entrance. Water at individual campsites is available seasonally from April 15 through October 15. A camp store is available for supplies, and campground hosts are on-site to assist guests. Bennett Spring State Park is centered around one of Missouri's largest springs, with more than 100 million gallons of clear, cool water flowing daily to form a spring branch stocked with rainbow trout. While the park is famous for its trout fishing, it also offers dining facilities, hiking trails, and scenic natural beauty in the Ozark region.
