About

Guy Sandy Campground is a seasonal primitive campground located on the western shore of Lake of the Arbuckles within Chickasaw National Recreation Area. The campground operates from no later than Memorial Day Weekend through no earlier than Labor Day Weekend, providing a rustic camping experience with basic amenities only. The campground features 40 first-come, first-served campsites, each equipped with a picnic table and fire ring with grill. Communal water spigots and pit toilets are available throughout the campground. RVs and trailers up to 30 feet are permitted, though no hookups are provided. Access is via the southern end of Chickasaw Trail. Fires are permitted only in the provided rings, and fire bans are occasionally in effect. Cell phone reception is available, and seasonal trash collection is provided. The campground operates on a cash-only basis with a nightly fee of $14 per campsite.
