Fall colors over Gulpha Creek

Gulpha Gorge Campground

Open

Open year-round. All sites require advance reservation via Recreation.gov. Camping is limited to 14 consecutive nights with a 7-day break required between stays, and a maximum of 30 nights per calendar year.

About

Gulpha Gorge Campground offers a rare combination of full-service camping within a national park setting. Located on the east side of Hot Springs, Arkansas, the campground sits along Gulpha Creek beneath a canopy of mature trees. Despite being minutes from downtown Hot Springs and historic Bathhouse Row, the site feels secluded thanks to its wooded gorge location. All 40 campsites accommodate both RVs and tents with full hookups including 30 and 50 amp electric service, water, and sewer connections at each site. Modern restroom facilities include hot showers accessible via code provided at check-in. Each site has a picnic table and pedestal grill. The campground features paved roads and parking pads, an amphitheater, and on-site campground hosts. Trail access directly from the campground connects to Hot Springs Mountain and Bathhouse Row, making this an ideal base for exploring the park's 26 miles of trails. Gulpha Creek provides opportunities for wading and relaxing streamside. The campground is popular year-round, even during fall and winter months, so advance reservations via Recreation.gov are strongly recommended.
