Brady Mountain Campground occupies a scenic peninsula on Lake Ouachita, Arkansas's largest lake with 692 miles of shoreline and 178 islands. The crystal-clear waters make this a premier destination for fishing, boating, and scuba diving among the submerged features of the flooded mountain valley. The campground serves as one terminus of the Geo-Float Trail, the first water-based interpretive trail in the National Trails System, offering a 16-mile self-guided boat tour to view geologic formations. All 74 campsites feature electric hookups with 50/30/20 amp service. Water hookups are not available at individual sites; campers must fill tanks at the dump station near the entrance. The campground offers both tent-only electric sites and standard electric sites accommodating RVs and trailers, with some pull-through sites available for larger rigs up to 70 feet. Facilities include hot showers, restrooms, a dump station, fish cleaning station, boat ramp, playground, swim beach, and a nature trail. The campground operates with self-check-in using cards at the entrance. Check-in is at 6:00 PM and checkout at 4:00 PM. Firewood must be purchased locally and burned on-site. Off-road vehicles are not permitted. Hot Springs National Park is a short drive away for those wanting to experience the historic bathhouses and natural thermal springs.

Directions

From Hot Springs, AR: Take US 270 west approximately 10 miles to Brady Mountain Access Road. Turn right and follow access road 6 miles north to the park.
