About

Lake Ouachita State Park Campground sits on the shores of Arkansas' largest lake, a 40,000-acre reservoir surrounded by the scenic Ouachita National Forest. The campground offers 93 total campsites distributed across three classes: 58 Class AAA sites with water, 50-amp electric, and sewer hookups; 23 Class D sites with no hookups; and 12 walk-in tent sites. Many campsites are positioned directly on the waterfront, providing exceptional lake views and easy access to water recreation. The lake's crystal-clear waters are ideal for swimming, skiing, scuba diving, boating, and fishing for bream, crappie, catfish, striped bass, and largemouth bass. The park features a full-service marina offering boat and kayak rentals, bait, and supplies. Additional facilities include the Caddo Bend Trail, multiple swimming areas, bathhouses, a dump station, picnic areas, and a visitor center with exhibits and a gift shop. Historic Three Sisters Springs is located within the park boundaries. Interpretive programs including guided hikes, eagle cruises, and kayak tours are offered year-round. The park is open all year with restrooms available throughout, making it a premier destination for camping, water sports, and outdoor recreation near Hot Springs.
