Oak Bower Group Use Area sits along the scenic Bill Hill Creek arm of DeGray Lake, one of Arkansas's five Diamond Lakes known for their crystal clear waters. This U.S. Army Corps of Engineers facility is designed specifically for group gatherings, offering seven sleeping cabins equipped with heat and air conditioning units, each containing four bunks. A spacious dining hall accommodates up to 150 people and features a full kitchen for meal preparation, along with internet access. The facility includes shower houses, restrooms, fire rings, a group-size grill, and playground equipment for families. Guests are responsible for bringing their own bedding, linens, pillows, blankets, and air mattresses. Check-in is at 3:00 PM with key pickup at the Visitor Center between 2:30 PM and 4:30 PM, and check-out is at 10:00 AM. DeGray Lake offers excellent boating, water skiing, kayaking, and fishing opportunities, with the lake stocked with hybrid striped bass and other game fish. The nearby DeGray Lake Resort State Park provides golf courses, tennis courts, and horseback riding, while the Ouachita National Forest and Hot Springs National Park are both a short drive away.

From Interstate 30, take exit 78 and merge onto State Highway 7 north for 9 miles. Turn left onto Arlie Moore Road for 1.1 miles. Turn right onto Chestnut Dr for 1.4 miles. Turn left onto Oak Bower Rd and follow into Group Use Area.
