About

Grove Boat-In Campground is one of two boat-in campgrounds on Laurel River Lake within Daniel Boone National Forest. The campground occupies two peninsulas separated by a small bay, offering 22 first-come, first-served campsites, most positioned near the water's edge with boat moorings available. Each site includes a tent pad, picnic table, fire ring, and lantern pole. The sites are well-spaced to provide a sense of seclusion. Access is by boat from the Grove Boat Ramp, located approximately 1 mile south, or by hiking Duff Trail #440 from the nearby Grove Drive-In Campground. Vault toilets are provided, but campers must bring their own drinking water and pack out all trash. No hookups or showers are available. Grove Marina, a full-service marina within half a mile of the campground, offers rental boats, camping and fishing supplies, fishing licenses, and detailed lake maps. Campers register and pay fees at a self-serve pay station upon arrival.
