Isolated gusts to 65 mph possible below the passes. * WHERE...San Bernardino County Mountains, San Bernardino and Riverside County Valleys-The Inland Empire, San Gorgonio Pass near Banning, and Santa Ana Mountains and Foothills. * WHEN...Until 1 PM PST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strongest winds will occur through and below the Cajon Pass and adjacent foothills, below the San Gorgonio Pass, and through the canyons of the Santa Ana Mountains.

Green Canyon Group Campground is situated in the San Bernardino National Forest near Big Bear in Southern California's mountains. The campground is part of the extensive San Bernardino National Forest recreation system, which includes hundreds of miles of hiking trails, designated wilderness areas, and various camping facilities throughout the forest. The campground is located at approximately 7,200 feet elevation in the pine-covered mountains between Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear Lake. As a group campground, it is designed to accommodate larger parties seeking a dedicated camping area in the national forest setting. The San Bernardino National Forest offers year-round recreational opportunities, though many higher elevation facilities have seasonal closures due to winter snow conditions.
Directions
From Big Bear City, take CA-38 east for approximately 5 miles. Turn right onto Green Canyon Road (Forest Road 2N93B) and continue for about 2 miles to reach the campground. Note that the last portion of the road is unpaved and may be rough.
