Geneva State Park Shelters

Open — The shelterhouses are currently open and available for reservation year-round through the Ohio State Parks system.

About

Geneva State Park's shelterhouse facilities are located in the scenic Crabapple Picnic Area on Lake Erie's southern shore in northeastern Ohio. The park offers two reservable shelterhouses equipped with electric and water, making them ideal for family reunions, group gatherings, and other events. The picnic area features flush toilet restrooms, a volleyball court, and horseshoe pit for recreation. The 698-acre park sits in the heart of Ohio's wine country and provides access to Lake Erie's beaches, a six-lane boat ramp, marina, 300-foot guarded swimming beach, and six miles of multi-use trails. The park also features an archery range and opportunities for fishing, boating, and seasonal activities like cross-country skiing and ice fishing. Reservations for the shelterhouses can be made through the Ohio State Parks reservation system at reserveohio.com or by calling the reservation line. The park is easily accessible from Interstate 90 and offers ample parking near the shelterhouse facilities.
