About
Three Creek Group Campground sits in forested, mountain terrain along the banks of the Entiat River, 36 miles west of Entiat in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. The group site accommodates smaller groups of around 20 to 30 people with five trailer parking areas and a few additional parking spots. The maximum trailer size is 28 feet. Facilities include picnic tables, fire rings with benches, an accessible vault toilet, and trash service. No water is available on-site; campers must haul water from nearby Cottonwood Campground. The campground serves as an excellent base camp for outdoor recreation. Anglers can fish the Entiat River above Entiat Falls, where selective gear rules apply. The river features shallow riffles interspersed with pools and glides that hold populations of rainbow, cutthroat, and eastern brook trout. Hiking and motorized trails near the campground provide access to high meadows and the Glacier Peak Wilderness. The Silver Falls National Scenic Trail offers a 1.5-mile loop hike to a large waterfall, and hundreds of miles of multiple-use trails are accessible from nearby trailheads. The Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest offers stunning scenic vistas with high, glaciated alpine peaks, valleys of old-growth forest, and diverse wildlife habitat. Visitors may see mule deer, elk, bald and golden eagles, and various woodpeckers and owls. Summer brings warm, sunny weather, while winters feature clear skies and heavy snow at this elevation.
