About

Fox Creek Campground sits at the junction of the Chief Joseph Scenic Highway and the Beartooth All-American Highway in northwest Wyoming, offering spectacular views of Pilot and Index Peaks. This newly remodeled campground features 33 sites, including single electric sites and two electric triple sites, making it one of the few Beartooth-area campgrounds with hookups. The campground provides access to both the Absaroka and Beartooth Mountain Ranges, with nearby trailheads for backpacking and day hiking. River and stream fishing opportunities are available, and the Northeast Entrance to Yellowstone National Park is approximately 24 miles northwest. Wildlife viewing and scenic photography are popular activities. Amenities include potable drinking water from a hand pump, vault toilets, and bear-resistant food storage boxes. Food storage is required due to bear activity in the area. The campground has a 16-day stay limit and accepts cash or check payment only. Interagency Senior/Access pass holders receive a 50% discount on single campsites.
