About

Florida Caverns State Park Campground is the overnight gateway to Florida's only state park with dry caves open to the public. Located in the rolling hills of the Florida Panhandle near Marianna, this 1,500-acre park features unique geological formations rarely seen in the Sunshine State. The campground offers 38 total sites split between two areas. The Blue Hole Campground contains 32 sites with full hookups including 30/50-amp electricity, water, and sewer connections. Each site features a picnic table, in-ground grill, hammock stand, and fire ring. The equestrian camping area provides 6 additional sites: 3 RV/trailer sites with electric and water (no sewer) and 3 primitive tent sites with water only. Restrooms with showers are available in both areas, along with a dishwashing sink and free communal dump station. Beyond camping, visitors can explore the cave system via guided tours, swim in the crystal-clear Blue Hole spring, paddle the Chipola River, hike multi-use trails, or ride horses on equestrian paths. The maximum RV length is 32 feet, and sites angle 90 degrees from the road requiring backing maneuvers.
