About

Faceville Landing Park sits on the shores of Lake Seminole in southwest Georgia, operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. This quiet, primitive campground provides 7 first-come-first-served campsites suited for tent camping or self-contained RVs. The setting is peaceful, tucked into a cove away from busier recreation areas on the lake. Lake Seminole covers 37,500 acres with 376 miles of shoreline and is renowned as one of the best bass fishing destinations in the Southeast. Anglers target largemouth, hybrid, striped, and white bass among extensive stump and grass beds. The park features a boat ramp with courtesy dock and a fishing pier for bank fishing. The campground is primitive with no electric or water hookups. A pit toilet is available, along with a reservable picnic shelter. Campers should bring their own drinking water. The surrounding pine and hardwood forest provides habitat for wildlife including alligators, bald eagles, and tortoises.
